Dear Friends,

We are asking you to join Federated Jewish Charities of Charleston on Monday, May 2, 2011, Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) for the Nineteenth Annual "Unto Every Person There is a Name" Holocaust Memorial Program at the Charleston Town Center. This is not only an individual experience, but should be attended by your entire family, in order to allow those of the younger generation to gain knowledge of the events that occurred over sixty years ago.

We are asking you to join with your friends and neighbors to read the names of those murdered. We will be honored to set aside a slot for you between 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.  If you can be with us, please notify Judy Lundy at 304-744-4932 or lundy43@gmail.com, with your time preference. The observance will be on the ground level in front of Macy's.

Please join remembering those who were murdered. We believe this will give us the opportunity to educate more people about the horrible results of intolerance in society. We know that the Jewish community will appreciate your participation and understanding on this day of remembrance.

In addition, we look forward to having you join us for a Service of Remembrance on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Israel.

Yours truly,

Stuart May                    Susan Striar May                  Judy Lundy
