Subject: CBMA Pre-MLK Jr. Events

The Pre- MLK Jr. Events sponsored by the Charleston Black Ministerial Alliance and the dates thereof are as follows.

 

#1. On this Saturday night January 14th, at 6:30pm there will be a Spoken Word Poetry event focused on Dr. King and Black History featuring local Poets displaying their talents. This event will be held at the Metropolitan Baptist Church Rev. Darin Freeman is the Pastor.

 

#2. On this Friday night January 13th at 6:30pm there will be an animated video viewing of the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. geared toward educating of our elementary youth of the life of Dr. King. This event will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church where Rev. Lenorris Dixon is the Pastor.

 

We are asking that pastors and clergy would take note and encourage your congregations participation as well as attendance in these pre-celebration events.
